Death impacts people differently and everyone has their own unique reaction to losing someone they love. There is no one playbook for dealing with grief and loss that is universally applicable. We know this. That is why we feel it’s important to provide links to helpful resources no matter who needs to be helped, and how. Below you will find links to websites that offer educational resources, emergency assistance, much needed guidance for some death care’s most sensitive topics. It can be argued that the best place to be after a death is with other people. Simply by being there, you can help improve the way that someone feels by providing an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a friendly presence. The Centre for the Grief Journey was established in 1992 to assist and support people in a grieving process after a significant loss and to provide meaningful resources and helps.
